The Textile Institute Recruitment service is designed to help our members find jobs. The service is free to Textile Institute members, including students. The TI website attracts over 35000 visits per month and all areas of textiles are covered from designers to technologists. All levels of personnel can advertise themselves from new graduates to experienced managers. How it works:
Members Seeking Employment:
Members submit their information to the TI office by completing a form on this site. The information is sent via email to the TI office, with a copy to the candidate. When the information is received, the TI office will add the member information to the recruitment website and assign a file number. The member’s name, email, member number and CV are not posted on the website. CV’s will be released to potential employers upon reuqest. The data is posted on the website for six months. Candidates may request an activity report at any time from the TI office.
Companies/Employers:
This is a public website and any company can search the site to locate suitable candidates. If a company is interested in learning more about an individual they can then request full CV’s from the TI office, priced £10 each. Volume discounts are available, contact Emma Scott). If the company wishes to follow up, the company will then initiate the contact. Companies may also wish to advertise positions vacant within the site, please complete the enquiry form on the Employer sign up page.
