My background is based within technical textiles and process engineering, the former being studied to BSc (Hons) level. I am currently employed as Engineering and Operational Excellence Manager within the Medical Devices sector.

I have held various management roles within the manufacture of Textile based  Medical Devices and have throughout taken on a range of disciplines to ensure that I have in-depth knowledge of key business disciplines. The experience gained with my current employer has generated a depth of knowledge in all aspects of the business including fiscal management, the achievement of metrics, operational excellence, regulatory and quality requirements etc. I feel I have the knowledge and personal drive to take on any challenge presented in a systematic and strategic manner.

I have a very strong work ethic plus a voracious drive to solve problems and instigate improvement. The combination of a hands-on approach, my strong technical knowledge, methodical planned approach and an empowering approach to team leadership, I am able to facilitate change quickly. I am a certified six sigma black-belt and lean leader, it is my belief that these methodologies are of major benefit to employers in the further development of any product and process, regardless of field.
