Short Statement
 My objective is to attain a sales management or buying position within the textile industry. I seek to use over 20 years of experience sourcing, marketing and selling textile yarn and fabric into the UK market in order to increase turnover of a company’s core business and at the same time expand into new and developing markets.As a person who is self-motivated, hard working with a dedicated attitude to business, I would like to work as part of a dynamic sales team within a forward thinking company. Ideally I would like a position with people management responsibility, allowing me to utilise my empathic style of management to work with people on all levels and to be part of or lead an enthusiastic sales team.

I have travelled extensively throughout the world establishing new textile suppliers and sources including S.E.Asia, Australia and Continental Europe. I have spent the last 20 years working with a Swiss sales team increasing UK sales turnover from £1 million to £3.5 million per annum and by working closeley with customers having successfully introduced new products to the market.

I enjoy using my knowledge of textile technology combined with strong communication skills to resolve quality issues.
