 PhD in Textiles from University of Leeds, UK in 1987, B.Sc in Textiles from Dhaka University with 1st Class in 1981 and C Text.ATI from Textile Institute, UK in 1990.Since 1996 holding Key Management position (CEO) in companies involved in Fabric converting, Manufacturing, Marketing and Exporting to RMG sector in Bangladesh.Over 20 years hands on experience in Textile Production Engineering and Technology Management in different Capacity from Floor supervision to CEO level in Public and Private Enterprises in Bangladesh.Years of multi discipline working experience as Consultant with Local and International Enterprises which include Project Investment planning, Execution monitoring; Project Evaluation, Auditing & Restructuring; Textiles Fabric Marketing; Textile Education and Industry specific Survey; Privatization of SOE and Retraining.

Since 1990, involved as a part timer/ visiting Lecturer with B.sc in Textile Engineering Courses under the University of Dhaka.

Being a Chartered Textile and Associate of International Institute, UK involved with different Trade Bodies and Regulatory authorities in formulating textile policies and Standardization of Textile products and Services.

Number of Published Independent research Articles on Textiles and Clothing related to both academic and business interest.Widely traveled, attended numerous seminars, workshop, exhibition related to Textiles and Apparel industry at home and abroad.
