Short Statement
 I am a University Graduate in Textile Engineering and a member of ‘The Textile Institute’.My previous roles in the textile industry were as the Quality Control Manager for Bisas Textiles in Bursa, Turkey and Quality Control Supervisor and textiles merchandiser in Exsa (UK) Ltd. in Leeds. My duties at Bisas included the day-to-day problem solving of technical, quality assurance and production problems in a busy textile-manufacturing environment. I managed a staff of 20 personnel, working in different areas of quality control within the organisation. This included fabric and chemical analysis to determine production requirements.Routine raw material and finished product sampling were areas also I also have experience of. I was responsible directly to the Managing Director. I was also in the quality team to implement ISO 9000 at Bisas Textiles.

I am fluent in Turkish and speak some German. I am presently employed as an IT lecturer in Tameside College, I would however relish the opportunity to re-enter the textile industry.
